Frequently asked questions
1. DO I NEED A VISA TO GET MARRIED IN HAWAII?

Yes, valid passport and visa to the US are required to visit any US state, including Hawaii.

2. DO I NEED TO GET MARRIED "ON PAPER" IN THE U.S. IF YOU WANT TO GET MARRIED IN HAWAII?

No, civil marriage in the US is optional. Most international couples choose not to do so because of the bureaucracy and prefer to marry on paper only in their home country, once they return to Brazil after the ceremony in Hawaii. If the couple choose to marry on paper in the US, Hawaii Eco Weddings will give the necessary guidance to the couple.

3. HOW LONG DOES THE WEDDING CEREMONY OR VOW RENEWAL LAST?

The ceremony lasts about 25 minutes. If additional services were contracted, such as photo and/or video, the session lasts 40 minutes after the ceremony, except for express marriage, which includes only the photos during the ceremony.

4. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE OF THE HAWAIIAN NECKLACES MADE OF LEAVES AND FLOWERS (LEIS) FROM ONE PACKAGE TO ANOTHER?

PLUMERIA package includes a simple lei of orchids and the two other packages (ORCHID and MAILE) includes more elaborate leis with different flowers and leaves (much more extravagant for pictures).

5. WHAT IS THE PRICE DIFFERENCE OF DECORATIONS AVAILABLE?

The decor with bamboo starts at $600 for beaches on the South Shore (Southern coast of the island) and $700 for the North Shore (North coast of the island), due to transport and assembly costs. The decor with the torches starts at $ 300 for any beach on the island of Oahu.

6. DOES HAWAII ECO WEDDINGS PERFORM WEDDINGS IN ALL THE ISLANDS OF HAWAII?
